    No, all the men on the chatline are real guys, just like you.

  • What are the differences between the Mailbox and the Live Connector?

    A Voice Mailbox works like a richer version of email. It’s for guys to leave you messages when you’re not on the line, or if you’re busy in the Live Connector side of the system. You can listen to all the mailbox ads in each of the categories, and record your own so other guys can leave messages for you. Be detailed and clear so you get the best results. Pick up your messages when you want, respond to the good ones and make a plan to meet in the Live Connector for some intense man-to-man chat.

    The Live Connector is like walking into a bar full of men, except you don’t have to deal with the crowds, the high drink prices, or the attitude. In the Live Connector you can browse through all the men by listening to their greetings. Find someone super interesting? Send them a message, or a connection request to get into a private conversation.

  • Before I buy a membership, can I try your service for free?

    Yes! To get your free trial:

    1. Select your language
    2. When asked for a Membership number press the # key.

    If your phone number is eligible the system will then offer you a free trial. After that you just need to call from the same phone number to enjoy your free time on Interactive Male.

  • Why isn't my Free Trial working?

    Your free trial may not work if:

    • Someone has already used a free trial from this number before.
    • The system cannot read your phone number on call display. You can try pre-dialing *82 to display your phone number to our system.
    • There is no time left in the membership.
    • It has been more than 7 days since your free trial was issued.
  • I'm calling your 1-800 number, and I can't use my free trial. Why not?

    You should look up your local access number, and try calling us that way. In the unlikely event that we do not provide local service to your area, call our friendly, 24-hour, toll-free Customer Service at 1-800-661-6168 and they’ll help you get connected.

  • What do I do if I can't get a free trial membership?

    We have great deals for new members that make it easy to get on the line and meeting new guys, including a double-the-minutes package that gives you lots of time for a low price. To hear all of our amazing deals and to buy time, call the local number for your area.

  • Can I use my free trial from any phone?

    No, you can ONLY use your free trial account from the phone it was issued from. However, new free trial accounts will not be issued to a phone number that has previously been issued one.

  • I'm calling Long Distance, and I can't use my free trial. Why not?

    You must be calling from the phone number the free trial was originally issued. Or it may be that someone has used a free trial from this phone number before.

  • Can a Customer Service agent give me a Free Trial?

    No. The customer service agents have no information about free trials nor can they issue them.

  • How do I record my greeting on the Interactive Male gay hotline?

    Once you enter the Live Connector, our prompts will guide you through the simple process of recording your name and greeting for the guys to hear. Remember to speak clearly, directly into the phone and avoid loud areas or loud music.

  • What should I say in my greeting?

    Your Greeting should say what you want to give for a first impression. Keep in mind it should be easy to understand you and no loud noises or music. You’ll have a much better experience if the guys can hear, and understand what you’re saying…

  • What do I do if I receive a message from a caller that I'm not interested in?

    If you hear from a man who just isn’t your type, simply delete the message and move on. If he is persistent and keeps messaging you, you can block the caller from sending you messages by pressing 7, when the system prompts you. If you think the guy is doing something illegal, or is underage, you can also press 7 again, after blocking him, in order to flag him to our customer service department for investigation.

  • What is not acceptable in a greeting?

    We want everyone to have an enjoyable, satisfying experience using our system. We will not tolerate:

    • Any discrimination based on age, gender or race
    • Any references to illegal activity
    • Threats of violence or harm
  • What is the difference between the Live Connector Greeting and the Mailbox Ad?

    Your greeting is what you record in the Live Connector for the guys who are online to hear right now. Your mailbox ad plays 24/7 for guys to hear and then leave messages for you. The Live Connector is for when you want to chat right now, while mailboxes provide a fun back and forth, especially if you’re looking for something really specific.

  • What makes for a successful Greeting or Mailbox ad?

    Speak clearly, give lots of detail about what you’re looking for and above all else, be yourself! Make sure you listen to it afterwards to make sure it recorded properly (you can always re-do it). You may want to write out what you want to record first and practice saying it.

  • What do I do if I receive a message from a man that I find really interesting?

    Send them a message back! You can do this back-and-forth as many times as you like until you decide you are ready to take it further. Interactive Male’s best feature is that you decide when you’re ready to proceed. We keep your personal information private at all times so you can give it out when you’re ready.

  • Why should I create a Mailbox?

    Having a Mailbox means you are on the system 24/7 for guys to hear your ad and leave you messages in response. It will do the work for you while you’re at work or asleep. They are free to set up and we have 5 categories to choose from, so the question really is “Why wouldn’t you set one up?”

  • Can I use a paid membership from any phone?

    Yes, a paid membership may be used from any phone.

  • What should I do if someone asks for my membership number online?

    DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM. No one from Interactive Male will ever contact you while you are on the system. If you get a message from someone claiming to be from Interactive Male make sure you block and flag them but pressing 7, then 7 again, after hearing their message or greeting.

  • How long will my Membership last?

    Your Membership will last as long as you want as long as it remains active. To keep your Membership active you need to log in and use time. If your Membership remains unused for a period of 3 months it will be deactivated without refund.

  • What do I do if I forget or lose my membership number or pass code?

    Your membership number gives you access to Interactive Male, and your pass code is like your bank PIN number so it is important to keep these numbers private and not to share them with anyone.. To protect yourself and your mailbox from fraudulent use, call our friendly, 24-hour Customer Service at 1-800-661-6168 if you lose your numbers. For your security, you might be asked to verify your personal information. Remember your membership number is different from your mailbox number.

  • When is time deducted from my membership?

    In the Live Connector, time is deducted from your membership once you are listening to other greetings of guys using the Connector. In the mailbox system it is free to listen to ads and time is deducted from your membership when you reply to ads or listen to the responses in your mailbox. Time is deducted from your membership on a per-minute basis and the system will inform you when time is being deducted.

  • Will the system warn me when my membership is about to run out of time?

    The system will inform you of your membership balance when you log on. You will be given the option to purchase more time when your balance is less than 20 minutes. The system will also warn you when your membership balance reaches two minutes.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    You may pay by Credit Card, Debit Card, Pre-Paid Credit Card, PayPal, Check-by-Phone, or Western Union.

  • Will any charges show up on my phone bill?

    Charges will not appear on your phone bill unless you call using one of our 1-900 numbers. However, if you call one of our local access numbers from outside its local calling area, long distance charges may apply.

  • Can I send I a check or cash in the mail?

    Checks can actually be used over the phone if you are a US customer, and US and Canadian customers can pay by Western Union if you want to use cash to purchase. We don’t take any payments through the mail.

  • Is my credit card/personal information secure?

    Yes. Since 1990 we have been approved by the top banks in North America to provide secure credit card processing for our members. All credit cards presented are securely directed to the financial institution that issued the card.

  • How will charges appear on my credit card statement?

    When you use a credit or debit card to place your order online or on the phone, we use the discrete billing name of TELIGENCE to keep your purchases private. The phone number that appears goes to our discrete billing department where they do not divulge information unless they are talking to you.

  • How will charges appear on my phone bill?

    (For our 900 customers) Your telephone company handles the billings for the 900 number you have called. Charges will appear in a separate section of your regular phone bill as UCI.

  • What if I want to be informed of specials/promotions/events?

    Call the system regularly to find out about our current promotions.

  • How do I create an Interactive Male account online?

    To access your Interactive Male account on-line you must first create a Web Account. To create a web account all you need to do is:

    1. Click on ‘Sign In’ and then on ‘Sign Up’
    2. Enter your valid email address and select a password for your web account
    3. Answer the skill testing question so we know you’re human and click ‘Sign Up’
    4. Once you have completed this sign-up process you will receive a confirmation email.
    5. Click on the link to verify your account and enter your email and password to sign in

    Once you’ve done that you can associate your Interactive Male Membership to your web account. Signing up is free and gives you access to exclusive on-line content, deals and promotions.

  • I forgot my web password and your system says that I don't have an account. How do I recover my password?

    Your Web Account is associated to the email that you have provided when you signed up. Use this email to request a “forgot password” email. Make sure that the email you have entered when you signed up/registered is the same as the email entered when requesting a new password. Keep in mind, the email is case-sensitive

  • I try to login and your website tells me that I don’t have an account.

    Try the Forgot Email or Forgot Password links on the sign in page. If neither of these work, try creating a web account again and make sure to click the activation link in the email you receive upon set up.

  • I haven't received my "forgot password" email. How do I get one?

    First check your Junk E-mail folder for the “forgot password” email. If the email is not there, try adding to your email contacts and generate a new request for forgot password.

  • The link in the confirmation email does not work and tells me that I do not have an account. What do I do?

    The link in the email to validate the creation of your Web Account is only valid for 24 hours. You will need to request a new Web Account confirmation link if you get an error message telling you that you do not have an account. This error message refers to your online Web Account not your Interactive Male Membership.
